Really nice here, well done tour, nice museum and great exhibition

Very poor waiter performance, despite empty and cleaned tables, the guests here stand their legs in their stomachs. In the 20 minutes that I am now sitting here, sales of € 500 have certainly already been driven home, because the guests should wait for the staff before they sit down. The staff walk back and forth without paying any attention to the waiting guests. The coffee was ok.

We, a hiking group from DAV-PB, are after a hike with 12 people. We stopped in the Cafe "Zur Wewelsburg". Organization excellent, service competent and very friendly. Cake 1st cream, we felt very comfortable and will definitely be back.

The time of the 3rd Reich of the Wewelsburg is dealt with very precisely and many exhibits are presented. The tour is generally very oppressive but very informative.

Interesting castle with a depressing past. The exhibition "Ideology and Terror of the SS" vividly and comprehensively shows the history and madness of the Third Reich as well as the effects on Wewelsburg.

I ordered a portion of nuggets and fries. This "portion" was more than half for twice the price. The fries were not seasoned and the sauce was just a small dabdei. Very disappointing for the price. Too bad.

Were only in the restaurant, clean and modern. You can also sit outside nicely .... It's all OK.

Certainly okay for coffee and cake. Immense waiting times despite fewer guests. Tomato soup extremely sour, dressing the salad not tasty either. Both are also quite expensive. Only the chips (€ 3.50) were delicious and plentiful. Conclusion: Except friendly staff a total letdown, will not come back.

No big menu, but for the purpose this restaurant serves long enough, the burger we got was well done (in terms of presentation and taste), good prices. Didn't taste the cakes but looked delicious. Could have problems with big groups, as there was only one serving girl, slightly uncoordinated, the good side was that the cooks got to help her, but if the kitchen would be busier...

Historically and culturally a must in German history! A natural history museum in the castle itself and the history of the SS in Wewelsburg in the outbuilding. Those who are interested in this topic will get their money's worth here. All around you can go for a nice walk and in the café you can order coffee, cake and hot meals inside and outside. All in all, you can spend your Sunday well there. Since I've been there many times as a child, it's just a shame that the mystery has been lost a bit through the modernization. In the past you could go down to the witch's cellar like this and today everything is connected to the museum and can only be accessed after admission. I think that's a bit of a shame, but otherwise great! The war grave memorial in Böddeken is also worth seeing nearby.
